Yay! Booklist!
Douglas Adams is great, isn't he? He made a reading in my hometown once (he says he had the idea for hitchhikers guide when he was passing out drunk on a lawn in Innsbruck (said hometown of mine)). It was made of cool.

You read manga? I haven't read Emma yet but I do read a lot of them. What else do you like?

I love Douglas Adams, I'm so sad that he's dead. There isn't going to be anyone else like him. That's awesome that he was in your town, must have had too many Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters. May 25th is Towel Day, when everyone should bring a towel.
I love manga, I mostly read shojo, yaoi and josei. The ones I'm into now are; Nana, Sensual Phrase, Fake, Princess Ai, Bizenghast, Emma, Honey and Clover, & Godchild. Which ones are you into?

Yeah, we did that towel day thing last year and my Prof in theoretical chemistry had one too. It's awesome how many people fan him.

I love Ai Yazawa, so naturally I read Nana, Paradise Kiss etc. I had a look at Princess Ai too. I love her characterizations and she draws the cutest punks ever.

Fake as great fun (can't help it, I'll always be a yaoi fangirl).Who can withstand kissing cops.

Honey and Clover is made of awesome, I just started to read the series.

I love Kaori Yuki's stuff too, so I read Godchild, Angel Sanctuary and some of her shorter stories (Fairy Cube and Ludwig Revolution). Her artwork is so beautiful.

Hm, what els do I read mangawise? My all time favorites are Naru Taru and everything Naoki Urasawa draws, especially Monster and 20th century boys.
On the shojo and yaoi front I adore You Higuri (Cantarella, Gorgeous Carat...)
Fortunately there are tons of manga available over here. They are far easier to get than the american comics.

I can't wait, I'm bringing a towel to work. I was also thinking of making a shirt that said "42" or "Don't Panic," something like that. Hee, I'm a geek!
Nana is cool, but I've read some spoilers and it's gotten *really* super melodramatic. Crazy!
Hee, I have the Fake anime, Dee cracks me up in it.
I never read Angel Sanctuary, but I got into most of the manga I'm into, like Honey and Clover and Godchild, through Shojo Beat magazine.
Is manga expensive where you are Austria, right)? They can cost more than some paperback books here.

Oops, that was supposed to be: Is manga expensive where you are (Austria, right)?

I'm not very happy with Nana at the moment. The last book i read was #16 and I dislike most of the developments since #10. Maybe it'll get better again but I'm not expecting too much. The artwork is still gorgeous of course.

We have some magazines over here too but I stopped reading them a while ago. The scene just got a little too big (and young)for me. There was a time I could have named you every manga available over here and which I'd like them to translate. Now I'm barely recognize the new names.

German manga are a bit cheaper than the English(around 6 Euro for the standard paperback), but in exchange normal books (and western comic books) are a bit more expensive. As manga go the french make the best editions. They usually have the prettiest layouts and the lowest prices.
